As Solent Companions grows, all companions are selected with the same high level of care and attention. Every companion must meet clear standards before working with any client. This includes enhanced DBS checks, suitable references, completion of any relevant training, appropriate insurance in line with services provided and a demonstrated commitment to dignity, respect and truly person-centred support. No companion is introduced until all required checks and safeguards are in place.
Continuity sits at the heart of how Solent Companions operates. Clients are supported by a familiar main companion wherever possible, allowing trust, confidence and meaningful relationships to develop over time. When cover is required, this is managed thoughtfully with introductions made to trusted companions who share the same values and approach. This ensures reassurance, consistency and peace of mind for both the client and their families.
